Primo Premio Europeo 2020- categoria speciale
Il progetto eTwinning “Together for a better tomorrow” (a.s. 2018/19) è risultato vincitore del Premio Europeo eTwinning 2020 per la categoria speciale “English Language”, sponsorizzata dal British Council.
Il progetto, in collaborazione con scuole partner di Francia e Turchia, è partito dalla conoscenza degli obiettivi dello sviluppo sostenibile per promuovere il pensiero critico e l’idea che tutti noi possiamo essere attori del cambiamento ed avere un impatto positivo nelle nostre comunità con semplici e piccoli gesti di vita quotidiana.
La metodologia eTwinning ha offerto l'opportunità di sviluppare competenze sia curriculari, attraverso l’uso della lingua inglese per una comunicazione reale con i partner, sia trasversali, come la capacità di lavorare in team e collaborare in presenza e online.

La motivazione del premio da parte del British Council:
"A well thought out and creative collaboration between three countries. The learners used a range of language skills when working together. By making videos to send to each other, they developed their presentation skills as well as their technical skills. The creativity involved in challenging each other to undertake various activities created a fun atmosphere within which to explore the difficult issues of how to make our world a better place for everyone. The project summary and examples of the learners’ collaborative efforts are evidence of linguistic learning, increased 21st Century skills and of meeting the goals of the project of solidarity and problem solving. The international teams worked together to work out ways to create a better world and helped raise awareness of some big and challenging topics. This was a highly creative and fun project that tackled global issues by using innovative educational approaches to get the most out of the learning experience. The use of English as a mode of communication and collaboration enabled learners to improve their abilities by creating a real and meaningful need to use the language.”
